Getting rBTC

You will need rBTC to be able to pay the Gas, which is the fee for using the RSK Blockchain.

rBTC Smart Bitcoin is the native cryptocurrency of RSK. It is pegged 1:1 with BTC. rBTC is necessary since with BTC you can't run Smart Contracts, which makes it possible for DeFi to exist.
