How to mint USDRIF
This guide shows the way to mint USDRIF tokens using the platform https://rif.moneyonchain.com
Connect to RIF On Chain
Go to https://dapp.rifonchain.com and connect with the wallet of your preference.
The wallet will prompt you a message to sign, in order to log in to the platform with it. Please sign it, to access the home page of the dApp.
Once on the Home page, you can either click the arrow button at the right of the USDRIF card (it takes you to the wallet) or click the USDRIF icon in the left menu.
On the USDRIF section, you have all the information needed to perform the desired transaction.
Click RIF on the left box to MINT USDRIF (if you want to REDEEM, select USDRIF in the left box).
Enter the amount of RIF and the system will fill the amount of USDRIF tokens to be minted.
You can see below the fee (0.25%), which you can pay either with RIF or with MoC tokens. Changing the token in which you pay the fee needs an approval transaction.
Click the Mint button.
Another confirmation screen is shown, just to be sure, where you also see the equivalent in dollars, click Confirm, and then the wallet confirmation.
Before minting the first time, you need to set the Allowance, which is the amount of funds in the wallet that is authorized to spend within the app. Remember you need rBTC for gas.
Take into consideration that in Liquality wallet you can change the NETWORK SPEED / FEE to slow or fast (it’s set to average by default). If not in a hurry you will pay a lesser fee switching to slow.
The app will show that your tx is pending and you can verify it by clicking on Explorer TX. After a few seconds, your balance will be reflected.
Congratulations! You have just minted your first USDRIF tokens.
